Agartala: Dec 24: Assembly elections of 2023 are in full swing. In the meantime, mercury is rising in the state politics based on the incidents of political terrorism. A protest rally was held in the tone of accusations and counter-accusations regarding the clash between two political parties.
It is known that tension prevailed over the incident of political clash between Tipra Motha and the ruling BJP party in Karailla Bari area of Champak Nagar, Matai Champak Nagar, Rishyamukh Assembly on Friday night. The Tipra Motha party alleged that the workers of the ruling party BJP attacked the Tipra Motha workers on their way home after completing the party programme. As a result of this attack, workers of Tipra Motha named Subal Tripura, Samrat Tripura, Suresh Tripura were injured.
After bringing the injured they rushed to Belonia Hospital, after first aid, Subal Tripura’s condition was critical and the duty doctor referred him to Agartala GB Hospital. On the other hand, the BJP party alleged that Raju Tripura and five Tipra Motha members left the party to join the BJP or they fell under Motha’s terror. Five BJP workers were injured in the attack. They are undergoing treatment at Matai Primary Health Center and Udaipur Gomati District Hospital. As soon as the elections are coming, there is a shadow of panic in the entire assembly area due to the situation of political terror in good governance.
