Agartala: August 11: On Sunday, the Kumbh Kali Temple in Ranirbazar was officially inaugurated in accordance with traditional Hindu rituals and customs. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the newly constructed temple by cutting the ribbon. Apart from the Chief Minister, Tripura Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Ramprasad Pal, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, MLA Ratan Chakraborty, and others were present at the event.
Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that the current state government is working for the people. The government believes in both work and religion.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated the Ram temple. The whole of India is now seen differently by people. Some people are also jealous. There are many conspiracies too. India has been attacked many times. Many things have been looted. Yet, India remains India. The Chief Minister expressed the opinion that India cannot be underestimated at any time.
The Chief Minister further said that nothing is possible without God. We must understand this. People can recognize each other within the temple. The Chief Minister further said that donating blood brings a divine thought. Blood has no discrimination. Blood has no caste. Blood is the only religion that reminds people time and again that everyone is one.
Sadhus and saints from various parts of the country were also present at the event. On this day, a world peace yagna was performed for the overall welfare of the people of the state. The Chief Minister also participated in this yagna. Besides, a tree plantation program and a blood donation camp were held at the newly constructed Kumbh Kali Temple premises on this day.”*
