Agartala: Dec 17: The mysterious death of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Sevak Chandra Biswas has sparked a sensation, with his family alleging foul play. Biswas, who was on duty at the Bilonia court, suddenly fell ill last Sunday. He was immediately taken to Bilonia Hospital and later referred to GB Hospital for further treatment.
Upon arrival at the hospital, his family discovered that Biswas had sustained a serious head injury. Despite being in critical condition for two days, he eventually succumbed to his injuries. His family suspects that he was assaulted, as the circumstances surrounding his collapse at the court seem suspicious.
Witnesses at the court claim that Biswas suddenly fell to the ground while on duty, but his family finds these details troubling. They believe there might be more to the incident than what has been reported. The police officer had recently been transferred from the Ramnagar police station to his post at Bilonia court, which adds to the mystery of the case.
On Tuesday, after the post-mortem examination, his body was returned to the family, and other police officers paid their respects. The case is now under investigation, and all eyes are on the post-mortem report to determine the cause of his death. The family’s allegations of murder continue to raise questions about the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
