Agartala: Dec 09: Gautam Pal, the entrepreneur and head of Sister Spices in Tripura, has sadly passed away this morning at a private hospital in Kolkata. He was 60 years old and had been battling a long-standing kidney ailment while undergoing treatment. Known for his contributions to the industrial sector, Pal’s death has left the business community in mourning. He is survived by his wife, daughter, and a host of admirers.
Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha expressed his deep sorrow over the demise of the distinguished industrialist, saying, “I am deeply saddened by the sudden demise of Shri Gautam Pal, a prominent industrialist of the state and the head of Sister Spices. I pray to God for the peace of his departed soul and offer my deepest condolences to his family.”
Former Union Minister Pratima Bhowmik also mourned his loss, stating, “I am deeply saddened by the passing of Gautam Pal, a well-known industrialist and the head of Sister Spices. His contributions to the state will always be remembered. I pray to God for the peace of his soul and offer my condolences to his family.”
Minister Sushant Chowdhury and Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation and MLA Deepak Majumdar have also expressed their condolences, recognizing Gautam Pal’s significant role in Tripura’s industrial landscape. His passing is a great loss to the region, and his legacy will continue to inspire many in the business community.
