Agartala: Nov 22: The All India Kisan Sabha has embarked on a membership drive. Today, Pabitra Kar, the state secretary of the All India Kisan Sabha, along with other leaders like Ratan Das, visited Indranagar and Krishnanagar areas for this campaign.
Pabitra Kar, the state secretary of the All India Kisan Sabha, said, “In view of the nationwide trade union movement called by the All India Kisan Sabha and trade unions on November 26, a postering and leaflet distribution program has been organized. As a part of this, a membership drive has been launched today in Indranagar and Krishnanagar areas. The campaign has received a huge response from every household.”
He further stated, “The membership drive has been organized to strengthen the organization. Because under the BJP government, farmers are being deprived of government benefits.”
