Agartala: June 14: In response to the cancellation of the recruitment process for Group D and Group C posts in the Assembly, the left-wing youth organization DYFI organized a protest today. Their activists took to the streets, staging a procession and demonstration, and even blocking roads.
According to DYFI state secretary Nabaran Deb, the Tripura government, which has been criticized for its stance on unemployment, had initially issued a notification for the recruitment of 37 Group D and Group C posts in the Assembly. However, today, the recruitment process was abruptly cancelled. Allegedly, the government is surreptitiously retracting the process after creating much fanfare during the initial notification. Many young individuals had already paid substantial fees in anticipation of these positions.
Deb further accused the government of playing with the livelihoods of unemployed youth, using this method to generate revenue. He called upon the youth society to unite and take action to remove the BJP government from the state.
