Agartala April 7: A vote is needed to establish the government for the third time on the basis of how much it has fulfilled the promises of the previous days. Politburo member and former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar said this at a public meeting organized at New Nagar School grounds in support of India Alliance nominated Congress candidate Ashish Kumar Saha on Sunday.
He said BJP is seeking votes from the people to form the government for the third time in the last five years. The first major fundamental and moral duty of the people seeking votes from the government is to explain to the public in detail how far it has been able to fulfill the promises made by the previous government when it was formed, and if not, why it has not been fulfilled. . Then if there is a transition from this, then what path, what approach to follow will be presented to the people.
And without saying that, there is no reason to think that the electorate will actually fall into the arms of the BJP with a few promises before forming a new government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also visited the state of Tripura two or three times. They made many promises, but they could not keep even one promise. For example, he said, two crore youths were promised jobs a year. Then from 2014 to last ten years till now twenty crore jobs are supposed to be created. Where did the former chief minister raise the question of the job? He complained that this government established the government with the promise of 2 crore jobs, but regular jobs have been stopped across the country. The biggest thing is that the army, which is protecting the country from foreign powers with bloodshed every day, has started recruiting in a new way to protect the country’s sovereignty. It is in no way acceptable to take such a decision for those who will work to build the country i.e. the youth. He also said that if Narendra Modi becomes the Prime Minister for the third time, depending on how the country will be in 2047, he is assuring that he will make a full budget in June and July. But in the middle of all these years, people will be victims of scarcity and will tie a towel to the stomach? Former Chief Minister Shri Sarkar brought the central government to task. Candidate Ashish Kumar Saha and the leadership of other organizations of the Left Front were also present in the organized election rally.
