Agartala: Dec 03: Various office bearers and workers of the party, including the Chief Minister, state BJP president, former deputy chief minister, played Gerua Abir outside the BJP head office in Tripura around the jubilation of the results of the four state assembly elections. The leaders and workers of the province expressed their happiness with the victory of BJP in three states by beating drums. On this day, they also participated in the victory procession.
Counting for assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh is underway today. BJP’s takeover of power in all three states is only a matter of time. This success of BJP in Modi storm has naturally boosted the morale of party leaders and workers in Tripura. They have become fuller of confidence.
Today, hundreds of workers outside the state BJP head office are playing Gerua Abir. Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha, State BJP President Rajeev Bhattacharya, former Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma and others joined them in Abir Khela. On this day, they also participated in the victory procession.
Chief Minister Dr. Saha said that everything impossible is possible because Narendra Modi.
