Agartala, November 2: Two persons were caught in the police net while illegally entering Tripura and producing Indian documents. Mohanpur SDPO Bijay Sen said that no valid documents were found from them during the police interrogation.
Mohanpur SDPO Bijay Sen said that a complaint was made from the Sub-Divisional Administrator’s office yesterday that a Bangladeshi citizen was caught while making Aadhaar card. Based on that complaint, the police arrested the man and took him to the police station for questioning. Investigation revealed that the man and his sister had entered Tripura illegally. No valid documents were found from them.
He also said that a specific case will be filed against them and they will be produced in the court today.
