Agartala, October 25: The Tripura government has organized Maaer Gaman Carnival tomorrow with great fanfare. More clubs in capital Agartala will participate in the carnival. Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Deepak Majumdar checked his preparations today.
Maaer Gaman Carnival will be held in the capital Agartala on Thursday under the initiative of the state government in Tripura and under the guidance of the Department of Information and Culture. The carnival will start from 5 pm on that day. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha will inaugurate the carnival. Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, Minister Tinku Roy, Mayor Deepak Majumder and others will be present.
Mayor Deepak Mazumder went to check the preparations for the arrival of the carnival mother today. The main stage of the carnival is staged in front of the city centre. Puja organizers from different parts of the city will take part in the carnival in front of the city center via Post Office Chaumuhani, Paradise Chaumuhani.
After the visit, Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Deepak Majumdar said that this year a large number of visitors came to see the Agartala Puja. This year too, the carnival will see a huge crowd. The state government has held meetings with various clubs around the carnival.
On this day, he expressed hope that many people will gather on the occasion of carnival. Besides, a large number of puja entrepreneurs will participate in this carnival under the initiative of the state government.
