You have to work with time, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said this while inaugurating the blood donation camp organized by health workers at AGMC and GBP Hospitals.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the blood donation camp by lighting the lamp. While speaking at the opening ceremony of the camp, the Chief Minister also said that sometimes the family members of the patients attack the doctors and health workers. Doctors are needed for both birth and death. So this kind of incident is not desirable. Still, many times the situation reaches such a point that such an incident takes place. The present state government has emphasized on the development of health system. Everyone should be covered under health insurance.
For that, a scheme called Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana has been announced in this year’s budget. Officials of the department have been directed to implement this scheme quickly. Science has improved, but it has not been possible to make blood. If blood could be created, one man would not care about another man. There are various donations, but there is no other donation on blood donation. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha along with AGMC vice Principal Dr. Sanjit Debbarma, GB Hospital MS Shankar Chakraborty and others present ther. Health workers at AGMC and GBP hospitals along with students of AGMC also donated blood in blood donation camp on this day. The guests visited blood donation camps and encouraged blood donors.
