Agartala August 8: A review meeting of the state police was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha at Pragya Bhawan in the capital on Tuesday. The meeting was attended by State Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan, District Superintendents of Police of eight districts and other police officials. On this day, the Chief Minister as well as the Police Minister discussed the current law and order situation in the state with all the police officers. Be aware of how much law and order is currently under control from previous years. The Chief Minister called upon the police officers to keep a close eye on the crime of murder, rape, theft, robbery and robbery in the state.
In addition to this, he instructed the police not to compromise with any type of crime. According to sources, the Chief Minister said that the police can gain more confidence in people by conducting proper investigations in all kinds of incidents. Because even though criminal incidents have been under control for the past few months, human trafficking, incidents related to women, thefts and robberies have come before the public. The state police is unable to do anything about these incidents. Police in the neighboring state of Assam have come to Tripura to nab human trafficking ringleaders and arresting ganja smugglers crossing the Tripura border into Assam. The extent of the weakness of Tripura’s Naka Point is also expected to come up in today’s meeting. Because the failure of the police in the state is trying to cover the fish with vegetables, but the chief minister’s path is right.
