Agartala, May 19 : The BJP state executive meeting is all set to be held in Sepahijala district’s Charilam on May 22 to check party’s organizational strength as well future plan for the next three months, a senior party official said here on Friday.
BJP state’s incharge Dr. Mahesh Sarma, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee will be present in the meeting among other party leaders. Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Social Empowerment Pratima Bhoumik, MP Rebati Tripura and Rajya Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb are scheduled to remain present in the party’s brain storming session.
Districts presidents and chiefs of party’s frontal organizations will also join the meeting and place their report on the table for deliberations.
The meeting assumes significant keeping in mind of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, ninth anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and poll outcome of the last Assembly elections.
“The state executives will have a brain storming session on the party’s performance in the Assembly elections will try to fill up the gaps in the organization for better result”, said a senior party leader.
Besides, there will be discussion on how to celebrate Narendra Modi’s ninth year in office as the Prime Minister, he said adding the roadmap for the Lok Sabha elections will also take shape in the meeting.
