Agartala, Apr 06: Chief Justice of High Court of Tripura T. Amarnath Goud on Thursday visited the Juvenile Home at Narsingarh to see the condition of inmates are living in. At around 3 pm, the Chief Justice accompanied by officials arrived at the Home to oversee the well being of the inmates lodged there. During his surprise visit, Justice Goud inspected the amenities such as food, lodging and recreation meant for the inmates. He also held talks with some inmates to enquire about their problems. He was worried about the number of juveniles who hailed from the neighbouring country Bangladesh. On hearing the ordeal of an Bangladeshi woman, Justice Goud directed the officials present there to take steps to repatriate the inmate to her motherland with the help of Bangladesh High Commission housed here. Yoga was also performed by an inmate in presence of the Chief Justice. He advised the Juvenile Home authorities to arrange regular counselling for the juveniles by trained counselors.
