Agartala March 7: Four days have passed since the declaration of the assembly election results, but the fire of terrorism in Tripura is not extinguished. They alleged attempt to kill the entire family by hanging a lock on the house door and setting it on fire. The eye-popping terror incident took place on Monday night in the house of Tamal Kanti merchant, adjacent to No. 1 Tila Prabhati Bazaar in Belonia city. Nine shops, including the house of Tamal Kanti, a merchant, were gutted in the fierce fire.
All the belongings of the house including the books of the examinee burnt into ashes. The proletariat family alleged that they set fire by hanging the lock on the door to kill them. In this kind of heinous incident, apart from panic, the conscious community has moved to condemnation. On hearing the news, BJP’s winning candidate of Belonia center and 35 Belonia mandal president Gautam Sarkar along with other functionaries rushed in the morning. A complaint has been filed against the local CPIM miscreants for the fire.
The BJP leadership claimed that it was a planned incident. On the other hand, complaints are directed towards the winning candidate of the area. They alleged that the winning candidate Dipankar Sen was terrorizing the area every night. After handing over some financial aid to the affected families, the administration will be talked to so that a quick inquiry can be made to provide proper assistance to the helpless family, said Gautam Sarkar, the winning candidate of the BJP. Meanwhile, Tamal Kanti, the owner of Sarbshanta House, appealed to the government for help. District Governor Ratan Bhowmik visited the spot on Tuesday morning. After looking into everything, he assured financial assistance to the victims and real investigation of the incident to unravel the mystery.
