Agartala: Feb 07: Tipra Matha Supremo Pradyot Kishore Deb Barma made it clear that the Chakmas should not feel alienated from the tribals of the state to allay fears among the Chakma community. Some people try to discriminate Chakmas as Bangladeshis I stand against them Chakmaras are also indigenous people of our state This division between Tiprasas and Chakmas should end We are all one and united, Pradyot said at a party meeting in the Chakma-dominated Pecherthal Assembly constituency.
He said BJP has power of money but power of love People trust us If BJP comes and offers you money, take it, don’t hesitate It’s not their money The money belongs to some contractors or big traders Take the money and vote for Tipra Matha when you go to vote Now all BJP leaders will be sent back to Delhi with pineapples, said Pradyot.
He also questioned the removal of Biplab Kumar Dev, saying that before the 2018 assembly elections, the BJP had projected Biplab Dev as the leader and for 2023 they had brought in another leader, Manik Babu. The look has been changed in the name of change and the rest remains the same, says Pradyot Kishore Deb Barma.
