Agartala: Jan 29: After the announcement of the list of candidates for the Tipra Matha, the anger of the rebellion activists was ignited in Raj Andar. However, ever since the announcement of the candidates for the election, discontent among the leaders and workers of all the political parties has been coming to the fore. Tipra Matha is not excluded from this.
Party supremo Pradyot Kishore Deb Barman could not stop the rebellion of party workers even after announcing the list of candidates. Outpouring of anger is happening in various assembly constituencies of the state. Tipra Matha announced the list of candidates for 20 constituencies in the first phase late on Saturday night. Ever since the announcement of the list, anger among workers began to emerge. Out of the 20 declared seats, Tipra Matha party announced the list of candidates for only 12 Janjati reserved seats. The remaining 8 seats were general and reserved for Scheduled Castes. Leaders and workers of Tipra Matha expressed anger over the list of candidates announced on Sunday, concerned about the exciting situation in front of the Rajbari. Workers and leaders from different places gathered in front of Rajbari. According to some of them, a large section of Chakma people in the state are supporters of the Tipra Matha party.
So they demanded to give candidates from Chakma community in two out of six seats. The BJP party this time has fielded three candidates from the Chakma community. This is being questioned when seeking votes for Tipra Matha. Tipra Matha party supremo should listen to their speech. Hollywood Chakma, the claimant of the candidate, said that the movement will be organized in Chamanu Assembly constituency otherwise. Meanwhile, Matha Supremo spoke to the protestors separately when he was concerned about the situation. The name of Hollywood Chakma was finally settled as the candidate from Pecharthal Centre.
Meanwhile, party supremo Pradyot Kishore Deb Barman claimed that he had not heard of any political party about the alliance. Greater Tipraland did not compromise with any political party. But today Tipra Matha is fighting alone with the biggest political party. But the most surprising thing is that the Tiprasa did not understand Bobagra’s sacrifice. But some people don’t understand this and want to fight as independent candidates to become MLAs. It is clear that they never thought about Tiprasa but only about their own interests. He said that this not only made Bobagra sad, but also weakened Tiprasa’s fight. Leaving a message to the party workers, he said that the next 16 should work, and then see what Bobagra brings. Party discussions are still going on inside the palace.
