Agartala: Jan 24: Mamata Banerjee, Chief Minister of West Bengal will visit Tripura for two days ahead of Assembly Elections scheduled to be held in the state February. She will visit the state on February 6 and hold a rally on February 7. Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress in-charge Rajeev Banerjee, Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress president Piyush Kanti Biswas, All India Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP Sushmita Dev said this in a press conference today.
This is the first time Mamata Banerjee will come to the state for election campaign. Besides, Abhishek Banerjee has visited Tripura multiple times since 2021. Tripura will go to the polls on February 16 while Meghalaya will vote on February 27, the results of both states will be out on March 2.
