Agartala: Jan 18: I thank ECI for announcing dates for Tripura elections. Appeal everyone to come out and vote freely and fairly on February 16, cast mandate in favor of BJP. We are fully confident of forming government again this time. Tripura got a new identity under Modiji’s leadership with new National Highways, broad-gauge connectivity, new airport. Poor people of the state were given a slew of projects. People are very happy with housing, safe drinking water, LPG connections, land allotment for tea garden workers, farmer income has been boosted and agri-products of the state are being exported abroad.
Extortions and hooliganism has ended and we are going to people with this report card. This allegation is baseless. CPIM ruled in Tripura for 25 years. These Congress people helped communists earlier. Common Congress supporters were assaulted, murdered and Congress activists were thrown out of the state during Left rule.
May be their supporters this incident to blame BJP. BJP isn’t responsible. We believe everything has become BJP-may in Tripura. Our karyakartas don’t have time to do these incidents. We are working democratically as per ECI guidelines. There is a conspiracy behind the incident. We had 1.5 percent vote share in Tripura. In 2018, it all became BJP mood due to faith on Modi. Today, extortions aren’t taken for any social security beneficiaries.People don’t want return or violence and extortion in Tripura. We want to work with people together.
