Agartala: Jan 15: During vehicle checking at Nandan Nagar in the outskirts of Agartala, led by Parmita Pandey, SDPO NCC and NCC PS staff intercepted one truck bearing registration number TR01AK1685.
During search police recovered total 9100 bottles phensedyl worth Rs.1 Crore.
Police also detained one Farukul Islam of Sonamura who will be produced in the court with request for police remand to interrogate and get more information regarding the members involved in the drug trafficking syndicate. A case under NDPS act has been taken.
