Agartala: Jan 06: The government is threatening the entire education teachers before the upcoming assembly elections. They again threatened to besiege the residence of the Chief Minister and Education Minister, demanding financial deprivation and regularization. The Central Committee of Tripura Samagra Siksha Employees Association on Friday submitted a deputation to the State Project Director of Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan with 5-point demands including regularization of all working teaching and non-teaching employees under Samgar Shiksha Abhiyan, payment of DA, financial benefits to NC teachers.
On this day, a delegation led by the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Tripura Samara Education Employees Association, Prakal Debbarma, went to the Education Building and handed over their demand certificate to the authority. Chairman of the committee Prakal Debbarma said that the salary of Ramsar teachers has been increased. He questioned why NC teachers working in education as a whole are being deprived in this regard if they are being given benefits despite not being trained. The total number of NC teachers under education is 550. 20 percent DA payment has been announced during the current government. However, the teachers and non-teachers of the entire education have been deprived of this facility. Chairman Prakal Debbarma also said that deputation should be given to them against this deprivation. As of July 29, 2011, teachers in all disciplines are not required to pass the TET exam. He questioned why they were being forced to take the TATE exam despite these guidelines.
They claim that this decision is against them. The Tripura Samara Shiksha Employees Association will besiege the residence of the Chief Minister and the Education Minister in the next few days if no decision is taken in the upcoming cabinet meeting regarding regularization and financial benefits to the teachers of Samara Education. He strongly demanded to fulfill their demands in the next cabinet meeting. However, it is clear that the government has fallen into a trap with the entire education teachers.
