Agartala: Dec 17: In a shocking incident, a 35 year old woman was hacked to death by her husband today early morning. The murder took place at Srirampur area under Kamalpur police station.
The victim identified as Manika Debbarmma (35), the accused Anil Debbarma surrendered himself to Kamalpur police station after killing his wife.
According to the incident husband Anil Debbarma often fights with his wife regularly. Today early morning Anil and Manika had heated arguments and after that Anil hit Manika with a sharp object. Manika died on spot. Family members bought Manika to hospital where doctors on duty declared her dead. Receiving the information police rushed to the spot and arrest Anil.
Police register a case under IPC 302/2022 and started further investigation.
