Agartala: Dec 01: The long wait for employment in Tripura is finally over. JRBT (Joint Recruitment Board Tripura) has released the results for Group-C and Group-D posts. Out of lakhs of candidates, about 24 thousand 500 have cleared the exam. The preparation for taking the oral exam is going on between the third and fourth week of December. Labor Department Minister Bhagwan Das said this at a press conference at the Secretariat today. Information and Culture Department Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, who was present at the press conference, claimed that the results were published above politics. JRBT has set a precedent for transparency in that.
On this day, the Minister of Information and Culture said that a frenzy has been observed in the entire country regarding the results of JRBT. Due to the case in the High Court, there has been some delay in the publication of the results. He said that the exam was organized to recruit 2,410 people for Group-C posts and 2,500 people for Group-D posts. In that, lakhs of aspirants appeared for the exam.
He said that aspirants passed the examination with the ratio of 1:3 in Group-C and 1:6 in Group-C. In that, about 25 thousand job aspirants have cleared the exam. He said that 1500 LDCs, 22 Agri Assistants, 443 Agri Assistants, 236 Junior Pump Operators and 209 Junior Multi Tasking Operators, 2410 people will be recruited in Group-C posts. Besides, 2500 people will be recruited for Group-D multi-tasking staff posts.

He targeted the opposition and said that the Tripura government is not dismissing the fear of litigation in providing jobs in Group-C and Group-D posts. So, preparations have been made accordingly.
He assured that arrangements are being made to conduct the oral examination between the third and fourth week of December. All documents will be verified in the meantime. He said that PRTC will get priority in getting that job.
Meanwhile, Labor Department Secretary Abhishek Singh said that around 1 lakh 21 thousand 500 people appeared for Group-C and Group-D posts in August 2021. About 24 thousand 500 of them have passed the exam. Now the oral exam will be conducted. Meanwhile all the documents will be checked.
