Agartala: Nov 18: Kanchanpur Police launched an raid based on a tip off and detained two vehicles laden with huge amount of foreign and local liquor.
According to the details of the incident, Kanchanpur Thana OC and SDPO led the search from Panisagar to Kanchanpur road. Information was received from confidential sources and two vehicles were seized, one I20 TR-05A-0640 and another TR-05D-1890 in Shantipur area. Police recovered illegal 1300 over 3200 bottles of foreign liquor and local liquor from these cars. It is known from the OC of Kanchanpur police station that the accused managed to escape. A accused person identified as Pinku Nath (28), police took a case under NDPS Act in his name.
