Agartala: Nov 06: A public meeting will be organized on behalf of Tipra Motha on November 12 at Swami Vivekananda Maidan on demand of constitutional rights. Tipra Motha Supremo Pradyot Kishore Deb Barman told a press conference at Raj Andar on Sunday evening that people from all parts of the state could participate peacefully in this public meeting. He said that the activists are being called upon to ensure that the gathering is completed peacefully. Valuable demands of constitutional rights will be presented to the government from this gathering. Permission has already been obtained from the police for the rally.
He said that all preparations of the party for this rally are final. He also said that the Delhi campaign will start from December 1. About 2,000 workers and supporters will travel to Delhi by train from Tripura for the Delhi campaign. He said that the activists and supporters of Tipra Motha will stand at Jantar Mantar in Delhi and in front of Delhi Gate with constitutional demands. Besides, on this day Pradyot is seen criticizing gun politics several times. He said gun politics is going on all over the country. Tipra Motha does not support this. Tipra is ready to answer in the upcoming assembly elections. A democratic movement has started for this. This movement is not against anyone.
Union Finance Minister came to Tripura and announced 1300 crore rupees for ADC. That money has not yet reached the state government. Pradyot Kishore Deb Barman brought the Bharatiya Janata Party to court on this issue as well. Party president Bijay Rankhal and other leaders were also present in the organized press conference.
