Agartala: Dec 12: Job seekers had to go to the Education Minister’s residence and be beaten by the police to demand the appointment of STGT. On this day, the young men and women who are hoping for jobs go to demand that they be appointed quickly. But the minister got into the car and asked the police to clear it.
Only then did the police thrash the job-seeking youth like this. It is as per government plan. The government is abusing its power. This government has crossed the final limit. Congress strongly condemned it. This is what MLA Sudip Roy Barman said while addressing the media on Monday evening. He said that the way in which the future of the state is being hammered by the state power is a complete violation of human rights. There needs to be an inquiry into his personal case because the hills of the state are taking the same money as the employees of the relevant departments. If this is not investigated, it would seem that Narendra Modi’s human rights commissioners like CBI, ED and Election Commission are on their knees.
Sudip said, some 5304 posts are at present vacant and earlier many posts were abolished as were not filled up within one year, only 612 have been appointed by this government despite so many vacancies. “Today the STGT aspirants had meet the Education Minister on request to recruit all together and the EM had asked the police to clear the area near his house and in police action around 40 injured including a pregnant woman.This is an autocratic face of the government”, he said.
He further said the Education Ministry had earlier said that he want to recruit all but Finance Minister has to give approval. When they meet the FM he assured no shortage of fund so what should these youths do.
Police executives are to recruit some BJP supporters, today’s episode is violating of human rights and police accountability can take suomotto cases. Without any provocation police action took place to please the Minister.
Sudip also said that the incident that was organized today is very sad. The state government is going to appoint BJP cadres as special executives in the state police, and it is not acceptable to say that the government has no money to hire the future teachers of the country and the state because these are directionless decisions of the government. Because it is becoming clear again and again that the government does not want to pay for education. Sudip Roy Barman expressed the opinion that they are forcing the youth to get addicted to drugs. He also said that after the incident in the morning, no condolence has been seen from the minister. However, he expressed the opinion that it would be wrong to expect from this government.
The mass deity of the state will deliver them to the right place. And the officers who are doing this on the orders of the minister are being identified. People are aware of them. Our time will come. Sudip warned against the officers that legal action will be taken against such incidents. The current government is overstepping its bounds. Thus abuse of power has crossed all limits. Sudip Roy Barman expressed the opinion that people are ready.
