Agartala: Dec 06: Crimes related to women are not lagging behind in the state. The left front women’s organization has moved against this. All India Democratic Women’s Association organized a protest in Agartala on Tuesday demanding the arrest of miscreants involved in crimes related to women. Rupa Ganguly, member of the Central Committee of the All India Democratic Women’s Association, was present in the protest march.
He strongly criticized the current situation and said that recently there was a case of gang rape of a minor girl in Udaipur Killa and a minor girl was raped in Chailengta. This is the good governance of the current government. He alleged that rape is going on from house to house in the name of good governance. Therefore, the government is being demanded to take appropriate steps to stop the violence against women. Otherwise he warned that the movement will continue. The protest procession of the day circumambulates the various streets of the city.
