Agartala, February 18: A somber incident unfolded as a couple, Aditya Saha and his wife Debabrata Choudhury, were returning home from a visit to the Tripurasundari temple in Udaipur, Gomati district of Tripura. Tragically, their journey ended in a head-on collision, resulting in the loss of Debabrata’s life.
According to attending doctor at Bishramganj hospital, the condition of three other passengers is critical, as they sustained severe injuries in the crash.
The collision occurred in the Udaipur Baghma area with a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction, leading to serious injuries for the couple.
Debabrata who hailed from the Surya Chowmuhani area of Agartala had succumbed to her injuries at the accident site.
The driver of the other vehicle, identified as Samir Ray, along with Lakshmi Saha, also sustained significant injuries and were promptly referred to GB Hospital for further treatment.
Additionally, two other individuals, Utpal Saha (28) and Rana Sutradhar (33), were injured in the accident and subsequently admitted to Bishramganj hospital for medical attention.
