Agartala: Dec 03: 56-year-old left activist Sahid Mia was killed in a political clash in Charilam on November 30. As a result, protests were organized by the Left in various parts of the state accusing the ruling party BJP of the murder.
As a result, a protest march and road meeting was organized by the leftists in Veluharchar on Saturday afternoon to identify the culprits and demand strict punishment. This day’s march and road meeting were attended by area legislator Sahid Chowdhury, party state committee member Samsul Haque, Sipahizla district leadership Ahidur Rahman, Sonamura subdivision leadership Khursheder Rahman, Manik Debnath and others.
However, the presence of youth workers of the party was particularly noticeable during this day’s march and road meeting. At the end of the procession, a procession was held at Veluarchar Bazar. MLA Sahid Chowdhury along with party district leader Ahidur Rahman discussed the meeting. During the discussion, the leaders demanded the arrest of the culprits of Shahid Mia’s murder and strict punishment, besides warning against murderous terrorism in the state, fired shots against the ruling party.
