Agartala, January 25: As per Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream and promise, the new voters will have to take the responsibility of making India a developed country by 2047. Majlishpur MLA and State Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said this today.
It should be noted that Lok Sabha elections are ahead. All the big and small groups have come down to his preparations. Recently the National Election Commission published the final voter list. The upcoming Lok Sabha polls will be based on the revised and final voter list published by the commission. And it is in this situation that Minister Sushanta Chowdhury gave a message to the new voters of his constituency today.
25th January i.e. today is National Voter’s Day. The day is celebrated across the country to encourage more young voters to participate in the political process.
On the occasion of National Voter’s Day today, the new voters of the country, who will exercise their right to vote for the first time in the 24th Lok Sabha elections, participated in the New Voter Conference organized by the 10-Majlishpur Mandal of the Majlishpur Assembly Constituency Bharatiya Janata Party and the Bharatiya Janata Jubo Morcha at Ranirbazar’s Gitanjali Hall. Majlishpur MLA and State Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury encouraged them to exercise their democratic rights for the first time in the upcoming elections.
Apart from encouraging the youth present at Gitanjali Hall to vote, he said that they have to take the responsibility of making India a developed country by 2047 as per the dreams and promises of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He appealed to the new voters to work shoulder to shoulder with everyone to build a developed and prosperous state.
