Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that
the visiting delegation from NITI Aayog conveyed their admiration for the significant progress and ongoing development initiatives in the state.
Saha informed this speaking to reporters after a vital meeting with the NITI Aayog team at his official residence in Agartala on Tuesday evening.
The seven-member team led by Dr. V. K. Saraswat, a Member of NITI Aayog, has embarked on a three-day visit to Tripura.
Dr. Saha specifically highlighted Tripura’s vast growth potential in sectors such as bamboo, rubber, and agar.
He emphasized the substantial advancements achieved in the connectivity sector, positioning the state as a crucial gateway to South East Asia.
The Chief Minister’s positive statements indicate that Tripura has outpaced certain other states in terms of development, a sentiment resonated by the visiting members of NITI Aayog.
