Agartala: Nov 29: The drivers are fed up with the excesses of the Indian Labor Union. Stickers are being forced on cars, extortion is being collected and drivers are not allowed to support any organization other than BMS. Frustrated, the helpless auto drivers surrounded the East police station, although normally they could have complained to the police on this day, but they didn’t, because this kind of harassment is going on in front of the police every day. But the police are not able to take any action against the leaders of the ruling party. So this time the auto drivers surrounded the police station and demanded an answer. The auto drivers of GB Auto Stand demanded appropriate action.
Auto drivers said that a BMS leader named Sushanta Sarkar alias Liton Modak has been oppressing them for a long time. He is constantly threatening the auto drivers of GB-Chandrapur, GB-Dhaleshwar, GB-Motorstand roads and extorting money from them. The alleged traitor has been perpetrating this oppression for four and a half years by identifying himself as the leader of the ruling party’s labor union. He stopped the auto in the middle of the road and dragged the passengers from the auto. Alleged misbehavior with auto passengers is even alleged. Therefore, the auto drivers of GB Auto Stand have approached the police because of their frustration.
The workers also said that the state government is saying that no extortion can be collected from the workers, then why is the leader of the organization indulging the government in such extortion. They said that they want to draw the attention of the Chief Minister. On this day, after the deputation of the auto drivers of GB Auto Stand to the East Agartala Police Station, the police assured that the matter will be looked into. Now let’s see what action the police take against the accused sociopath.
