Agartala: Nov 26: Bharat Joro Tripura Bachao Yatra of Congress was held in various areas including Post Office Choumuhani, Ramnagar in Agartala city under the leadership of former MLA Ashish Kumar Saha on Saturday. Ashish Kumar Saha, present in the padayatra, criticized the central government and the state government and said that All India Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has called for this padayatra in the interest of the entire country.
The reason for this is the politics of partitioning the country, the deterioration of the economy, and multiple problems including the unemployment problem. He called for this movement to protect the integrity and sovereignty by solving this problem. He also said that the BJP-led government in Tripura state has created a dire situation in general, including unemployment, deprivation of government employees. This padayatra has started to come out of this anarchic situation. Ashish Saha also said that this government is trying to pass the upcoming assembly elections by creating politics of division among people. It undermines the democratic rights of people. Therefore, Congress has entered the field to establish people’s democracy, said Mr. Saha. Former minister Lakshmi Nag and other leaders were present in the organized march.
