Agartala: Nov 26: The sacked teachers of the hunger strike warned that the chief minister could create a movement that would affect public life by setting a deadline. Pradip Banik, a teacher of the 10,323-affected community who was sacked from the hunger strike stage in front of the Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan on Saturday, said that the 38th day of the hunger strike is Saturday.
So far, no member of the state council of ministers or anyone from the administration has come to meet. But the state chief minister recently held a meeting with the state’s legal advisors. Still, no reassurance has been received from the Chief Minister so far. But the fired teachers had confidence in the Chief Minister. The teachers who are sitting on the hunger stage have become extremely disappointed with such a role of the Chief Minister. Meanwhile, the Tripura Assembly elections are in next few months. There is not much time left for the election of 10,323 dismissed teachers. Therefore, if justice is not served by November 30, a larger movement will be formed in the coming days. And if the larger movement affects public life, then the state government will be responsible for it, said Pradip Banik.
