Agartala, October 18: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s words and thoughts reflect patriotic sentiments. The state government will move forward with the thought of patriotism in the coming days as well. This was said by the Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha while participating in the state-based Mera Mati Mera Desh program in front of the scape garden at the entrance of the Secretariat today.
This morning, party leaders and workers who brought earth in pitchers from different parts of the state gathered at Gandhi’s feet in Circuit House. From there, they gathered in front of the secretariat by rallying. Moreover, all the members of the state cabinet including the Chief Minister, BJP state president Rajeev Bhattacharya, top leadership of the party, party workers and supporters, students of various schools, dignitaries from different walks of life and others participated in the rally.
Incidentally, the BJP government had taken the initiative of door-to-door soil collection to implement the Prime Minister’s Amrit Batika programme. Soil will be collected from every panchayat and urban area of the country, and that soil will be taken to Delhi. This program was also adopted in Tripura. The program of collecting soil from different parts of the state is going on for the last one month. The state-level function of the program was held in front of the scape garden at the entrance of the Agartala Secretariat on Wednesday.
On this day, the Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s words and thoughts reflect the patriotic thoughts. The state government will move forward with the thought of patriotism in the coming days as well.
In his words, people should come forward for the sake of the country, remembering those who sacrificed to make the country free because they were sacrificed for this soil.
