Agartala September 22: Pradyot rushes Delhi to respond to calls from the Bharatiya Janata Party high command but fails to get a green signal for Greater Tipraland and other constitutional demands. In the end, Tipra Matha, the main opposition party, had to take the final decision to stage the movement again. Party supremo Pradyot Kishore Deb Barman said this while facing the media on Friday. On this day, Supremo Pradyot sat in a meeting with the leaders of the organization starting from the MLAs of the party.
Later he said, Matha’s claim is not against any ethnic group. This movement is about the demands of Tiprasa. The government will not take the matter seriously unless the central government is put under pressure. He also said that when the party went to Delhi, the Tiprasa did not speak together. You have to speak with one voice to get the demand. Bandh will be called one day in the next few days. Everyone should come forward to observe the bandh.
Pradyot said that until Tripura is not developed, it will not be possible to develop Tripura and make one Tripura a better Tripura. With this demand, the heads are already going to come down to the field, it has become clear today. The importance of which can be drawn in the Lok Sabha elections because the ruling party wanted Matha for the East Tripura Lok Sabha seat but the top leadership of the two parties did not agree.
