Agartala March 26: Government and non-governmental organizations are coming forward to meet the acute shortage of blood. A tide of blood donation camps can be seen at various places since Sunday morning. The Chief Minister encouraged those who came forward to the camp. After the chief minister appealed to all the organizations and social organizations of the state to solve the acute shortage of blood in the blood banks, the organization of the blood donation camp is being observed.
A blood donation camp was organized at the TRTC complex in Krishnanagar under the initiative of Belonia Togetherness. State Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha officially inaugurated this camp. Agartala Pur Nigam Mayor Deepak Majumder, TRTC Chairman Abhijit Dev and many others were present. Meanwhile, a blood donation camp was organized by the Rotary Club of Agartala branch at IMA House on the same day. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha officially started this camp. While discussing the event, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that blood has no religion. Blood has no political identity. One unit of blood can save three to four lives. The Chief Minister also said that due to the election, there is a blood crisis in various blood banks. But in response to his appeal, many people from all over the state came forward to donate blood voluntarily. So he thanked everyone.

The Chief Minister also said that there is no other donation like blood donation. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha urged everyone to come forward to make Tripura drug-free like blood donation. There were many others including Swami Shubo Karanandji Maharaj, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mutt and Mission at Vivek Nagar. Apart from visiting the blood donation camp, the Chief Minister along with other guests spoke to the blood donors. While speaking, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that in response to the call of the Chief Minister, various organizations have come forward to donate blood, thus it has been possible to meet the shortage of blood. He congratulated everyone for this. But continuity of these blood donation camps is necessary to completely eliminate the shortage of blood. All the organs of the human body depend on blood.
