Agartala: Jan 29: As soon as the candidate list is announced, the news of BJP’s corruption is going to come to light. Complaints are being raised by the Youth Front workers from within the party. After the announcement of the list of candidates on Saturday, there was widespread anger and protest in the Yuvraj Nagar assembly constituency as well as in various assembly constituencies of the state. The leaders of the party are not able to handle it.
Due to this anger, a massive collapse has started in the party. It is known that 60 members of Yuva Morcha, including general secretary and legal cell secretary Niharendu Nath, president of Yuvarajnagar assembly constituency, resigned from the party membership due to lack of confidence in the candidate. They told a press conference that the party’s dedicated workers demanded that a genuine OBC candidate from the area be nominated by the ruling party because for a long time, Yuvrajnagar Mandal protested against corruption but did not get any good governance. After the establishment of the government in 2018, the Panchayat Samiti Chairman, Chief, Deputy Chief and all the public representatives of the area are enjoying the facilities available to common people. Even the chairman of the block has embezzled government houses in his own name. Not only that, even the MLA of the area is involved in this corruption.
Although the top leaders of the party were informed about this, no action was taken against the accused leaders. Even if Yuva Morcha workers wanted to vote for the selection of candidates as per the decision of Delhi, they were prevented. Even the local MLA Malina Debnath has become a candidate again by rigging the vote to select the candidate. Therefore, they were forced to leave the party for the sake of the common people of the area, he said. They also said that common people will not accept the nominated candidate. Because people will give a fair answer to the way the smell of corruption has come out in the area. But as a group of Yuva Morcha workers left the same party, the BJP leaders in the area were disoriented.
