Agartala: Jan 15: BJP state leaders are rushing to Delhi to finalize the list of candidates. Former Chief Minister and MP Biplab Kumar Deb went to Delhi today. Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha along with state BJP president and other top leaders will reach Delhi by Monday. Sources claim that the BJP parliamentary committee has called the provincial leaders to finalize the candidate list.
Incidentally, there are only a few days left before the announcement of assembly elections. As a result, there is considerable need to finalize the candidate lists of all political parties. CPM has already finalized the candidate list of the Left. Candidate list will be announced after the election if the seats are vacated. In this case, the ruling party BJP also wants to finalize the list of candidates.
The ruling party BJP has some complications in finalizing the candidate for this election. Because, BJP is in some conflict with their alliance partner IPFT. IPFT is not shy about being in alliance with BJP. Tipra Matha gave them an open invitation to unite. As a result, BJP will finalize the candidate leaving room for partner parties.
Former Chief Minister and MP Biplab Kumar Deb went to Delhi today. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha is going tomorrow evening or Monday. Simultaneously, state BJP president Rajeev Bhattacharya, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debvarma and Union Minister Pratima Bhowmik are also going to Delhi. According to sources, the Chief Minister of Assam. Himanta Biswa Sharma will also attend the meeting to finalize the list of BJP candidates in Tripura.
Sources claim that BJP’s All India General Secretary (Organization) BL Santosh recently held extensive discussions with state leaders on the list of candidates during a visit to the state. Now the BJP’s parliamentary committee will analyze the list carefully.
Sources claim that there is a considerable possibility of changing candidates in several constituencies. Besides, there will be a discussion about Biplab Kumar Dev as a candidate for the assembly elections. Not only that, the Union Minister Pratima Bhowmik is also being thought of as a candidate for the assembly elections. According to sources, Biplab Kumar Dev is unlikely to be a candidate in the assembly elections. Instead, BJP is thinking of making him a Union Minister. Within a few days, there will be an expansion in the Union Cabinet. Then there is a possibility of Biplab Kumar Dev from Tripura getting the responsibility as a minister.
However, the BJP is in a bit of a quandary when it comes to choosing new faces. Because Padma Shibir has faced tough challenges to get reliable candidates. However, this time BJP will not nominate anyone who believes in the ideology of BJP or RSS as a new face. The ruling camp has decided to walk on this path with lessons from the past.
