Agartala: April 30: The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has officially announced the results of the Secondary (Class 10) and Higher Secondary (Class 12) examinations. This year, the overall pass percentage for Secondary students stands at 86.53%, while the Higher Secondary level recorded a pass percentage of 79.29%.
Out of 29,670 students who appeared for the Secondary examination, 25,673 successfully passed. Among them were 13,861 boys and 15,809 girls from 1,057 schools across the state. South Tripura emerged as the best-performing district in the Secondary examination, registering a pass rate of 92.69%. On the other hand, Khowai district recorded the lowest pass percentage at 78.54%.
In the Higher Secondary examination, 17,052 out of 21,506 students cleared the test. This group included 9,920 boys and 11,586 girls. Sepahijala district led with the highest pass percentage of 87.38%, while Khowai again had the lowest pass rate at 71.95%.
Addressing the media, TBSE President Dr. Dhananjay Gan Choudhury commended the students for their performance and highlighted the district-wise outcomes. TBSE Secretary Dr. Dulal Dey added that among 166 physically challenged students who took the Secondary exam, 110 passed. Similarly, 70 out of 90 differently-abled students succeeded in the Higher Secondary exam.
Dr. Dey further informed that students seeking review of their results may submit applications for specific subjects at their respective schools on May 7, 8, and 9. Additionally, a supplementary examination is expected to be held within the next two months to provide another opportunity for students to improve their results.
These results reflect a positive academic trend for Tripura and mark a significant milestone for thousands of students across the state.
