Agartala: Jan 10: Like Tripura government employees, TRTC employees will also get the benefit of 12 percent Dearness Allowance increase. Tripura Road Transport Corporation Chairman Abhijit Dev informed about this decision in a press conference on Tuesday. Basically, the 179th Governing Council meeting presided over by the TRTC Governing Council Chairman has taken some other decisions including increase in Dearness Allowance.
On this day, Abhijit said, it has been decided that 50 percent discount on TRTC bus service fare will be effective from January 15 for the benefit of all students and disabled people of Tripura. Moreover, TRTC has decided to pay dearness allowance to 12 percent of its employees. He said that the decision will be effective from December 1.
Also, he added, provision has been made for TRTC employees to pay cash during retirement by taking accrued leave pay. Besides, new routes from Kailashahar to Kumarghat and Dharmanagar to Anandabazar via Kanchanpur have been approved for running TRTC bus services in public interest. He further informed that new roads for TRTC bus services on PPP model are going to start soon. Nagerjala to Shilachari, Gandachara, Ampi and Sabroom, Khowai to Matabari both ways and GB Hospital to Kamalasagar Kasba Mandir.
