Agartala: Jan 04: Towards providing better mobile health facilities at doorstep for livestock and bovine animals besides making the state self sufficient in meat and milk production, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha launched mobile veterinary ambulatory vans beside bicycles and sex-sorted artificial insemination kits among trainees during a programme at Pragna Bhavan on Wednesday.
Animal Resource Development Department Minister Bhagaban Chandra Das and Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Deepak Majumder and other senior officials were also present during the programme during which 13 mobile veterinary ambulatory vans and 46 bicycles along sex-sorted artificial insemination kits.
The mobile ambulatory vans shall have a veterinary doctor along with a paraveterian and a helper and this is for the first time in the history of the state that the animal reared shall get this facility here claimed the ARDD Minister adding that largely the remote people shall be benefitted out of it.
