Agartala: Dec 22: Elections are approaching; many people are fishing in muddy water. Politics is going on. And no one is leaving the field. After two months, the affected 10,323 teacher’s community came down from the hunger strike to the streets to surround the Chief Minister’s house. However, as soon as the police went to the area adjacent to Womens’ College, the plan to surround the Chief Minister’s house collapsed in the middle of the road. They sit blocking the way for a long time. Their demand should be reinstated.
Some bureaucrats and legal advisers gave wrong interpretations in this case during the previous government. The same trend remains today. Even though 57 months have passed, a prudent and educated Chief Minister has not been able to solve this problem even though he sat at the table to discuss this issue. They demanded that all bureaucrats and ministers and legal advisers who are responsible for 10,323 should be identified and punished through an inquiry commission. The leader of the organization, Pradeep Vanik, demanded justice for the innocent teachers. He also said that now the diamond era is going on in the state. The current chief minister of this diamond era has not passed eighth standard. He is quite highly educated. The curse of 10,323 will fall on the Chief Minister if he does not resolve the issue before the upcoming elections. If the government disrespects 10,323 teachers like the previous government, then this government will not have a good day.
If this demand is not accepted then to issue termination letter as per service conduct rules, he also said to the Chief Minister that he should talk to them. He said that there is no fear to speak. He also directed the Chief Minister to sit in a constitutional position and not to spoil his dignity and make arrangements for them to get justice. Pradip Banik told the government that he will remain on the streets until the problem is resolved. He also said that the Raj who is trying to practice religion is also trying to avoid them.
Later, a delegation of two on behalf of the sacked teachers went to Secretariate. There is a message from the chief minister’s office to the barracks that the chief minister will meet with them by next Friday. And their demands will be respected. The sacked teachers called off the blockade after receiving that message, said sacked teacher Pradip Banik.
