Agartala: August 26: The Madhya Pradesh government has extended financial assistance to the Tripura government amidst the ongoing flood situation in Tripura. The BJP-led Madhya Pradesh government has provided Rs. 20 crore to the state government, as announced by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on social media today.
Chief Minister Chouhan highlighted that many states, including Madhya Pradesh, have been affected by heavy rains, floods, and landslides. He noted that Tripura and Kerala have recently faced devastating natural disasters, resulting in extensive financial losses.
On the auspicious occasion of Shri Krishna’s Janmashtami, the Madhya Pradesh government has decided to provide Rs. 20 crore in relief to the Tripura state government to help manage the disaster. Additionally, Rs. 20 crore has been provided to the Kerala government. Chief Minister Chouhan expressed his condolences to the disaster victims and affirmed that the Madhya Pradesh government stands in solidarity with the affected states during this crisis.
