Agartala: July 26: In a heartwarming display of compassion, individuals often marginalized by society—known as hijras or the third gender—recently stepped up to support those in need. Amidst the turmoil faced by nearly a hundred families in Gandachhara, who found themselves destitute, these caring individuals collected funds from their communities. With the money they raised, they purchased clothing for women and children, delivering aid to those sheltering at the Gandachhara High School refugee camp. Their actions serve as a powerful reminder that empathy transcends societal labels, and kindness knows no bounds.
