Agartala, March 5: The newly constructed office of the Banamalipur Mandal of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was inaugurated on Thursday at Dhaleshwar, Kalyani, amid the chanting of mantras and rituals of Narayan Puja.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by BJP state president and Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee, who toured the newly built premises and interacted with party leaders and workers. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from party supporters, marking what leaders described as an important organisational milestone.
Addressing the gathering, Bhattacharjee said that for BJP workers, a party office represents more than just a physical structure. “For us, this is not merely a building; it is a sacred temple of ideals. It is from here that we draw strength, inspiration, and commitment to public service,” he remarked.
He further stated that the new Mandal office would act as a strategic centre for strengthening the party’s presence in the Banamalipur Assembly constituency. Expressing confidence in the party’s organisational capabilities, Bhattacharjee said the office would serve as the starting point for reclaiming the constituency in the future.
According to him, the facility would enhance coordination among workers and provide a dedicated space for planning outreach programmes, public engagement initiatives, and party activities. “This office will help us carry the party’s ideology more firmly to the people and energise our workers for future challenges,” he added.
Party leaders described the inauguration as a significant step toward consolidating the BJP’s grassroots network in Banamalipur, expressing hope that the new office would become a vibrant hub of political activity and community outreach in the days ahead.
