On a cold winter morning, Tripura BJP president and Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Rajib Bhattacharjee held an interactive ‘Chai Pe Charcha’ programme at the Ashram Chowmuhani area, fostering direct engagement with local residents and party workers. The informal session created a warm and lively atmosphere, allowing people to openly share their views and concerns over tea.
Bhattacharjee was accompanied by Ward No. 24 Corporator and Mandal president Arindam Bhattacharjee, along with several other BJP leaders and workers. During the interaction, the BJP leader listened attentively to local issues and discussed developmental priorities, emphasizing the importance of constant dialogue between elected representatives and citizens.
Later, Bhattacharjee visited Booth No. 26 under Ward No. 24 and Booth No. 25 under Ward No. 25 in the Banamalipur assembly constituency. During his visit, he conducted on-the-spot inspections of local infrastructure, particularly focusing on the condition of roads and drainage systems. He also interacted with residents of the area to understand their day-to-day problems.
Assuring the people that their grievances would be taken up with the concerned authorities, Bhattacharjee reiterated the BJP’s commitment to grassroots-level governance. The visit reflected the party’s continued outreach efforts in Tripura, blending public interaction with practical assessment of civic amenities to ensure inclusive and responsive development.
