As part of BSF’s ongoing commitment to empowering border communities, a total of **33 motorised sewing machines** were distributed to women under the Skill Development Programme. This initiative aims to promote livelihood opportunities and enhance self-reliance among women residing in border areas.
To encourage and support young aspirants preparing for security force recruitment, **running shoes, track suits, and school bags** were also handed over to candidates who previously participated in the pre-recruitment training conducted by 43 Bn BSF.
In a significant step toward strengthening digital literacy, the BSF donated **six fully equipped computers** to the basic computer training centre at IC Nagar Higher Secondary School. This contribution is expected to boost skill development and improve access to technology for students and local youth.
