Agartala, Nov 12 — The Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Government of India, has lauded the Government of Tripura for the successful organization of *‘Unity Promo Fest – 2025’*, describing it as a visionary initiative that promotes national harmony, cultural inclusivity, and sustainable economic growth.
Celebrated as a vibrant showcase of Tripura’s cultural and tourism potential, the *Unity Promo Fest – 2025* has positioned the state as an emerging global tourism destination. The festival highlights Tripura’s commitment to peace, unity, and inclusive progress, drawing participation from diverse communities and artists across the country.
The DoNER Ministry commended the event for embodying the spirit of “unity in diversity” and for sending a powerful message of social cohesion rooted in Tripura’s rich cultural heritage. According to the Ministry, the festival not only celebrates the state’s dynamic identity but also enhances its economic prospects by attracting both national and international attention to its tourism offerings. In response, State Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury expressed his gratitude to the DoNER Ministry and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia for their continued encouragement and support. “The appreciation from the DoNER Ministry inspires us to continue building bridges of unity and progress through culture, tourism, and community engagement,” Minister Chowdhury said in a social media post on Wednesday.
