Agartala, August 22: Tripura Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu today witnessed a joint drone lecture and demonstration conducted by the Indian Army and Assam Rifles at the Assam Rifles Ground in Agartala. The event highlighted the growing importance of drone technology in modern warfare and its expanding role in surveillance, counter-terrorism, and strategic operations.
During the program, the Governor keenly observed the demonstration where different models of drones were showcased with practical applications in combat and disaster management. The lecture session provided insights into how drones are being increasingly utilized for precision strikes, reconnaissance, logistics, and monitoring of sensitive areas.
Governor Nallu interacted with officers and personnel of the Indian Army and Assam Rifles, appreciating their efforts in embracing modern technology to strengthen national security. He remarked that the demonstration reflected India’s steady progress in defense preparedness, with a special focus on indigenous innovations in warfare technology.
